- INTRODUCTION
- YooSnap Services which includes the use of YooSnap’s Website and/or Mobile App provided by
YOO TECH SDN. BHD. and its affiliates (individually and collectively known as “YooSnap”, “we”, or “our”). The Privacy laws are recognized and respected by YooSnap therefore we take our responsibilities in abiding by Privacy laws and respect the privacy rights of all the Users of YooSnap Services to safeguard your personal information in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010. We understand our responsibility in managing, protecting and processing your personal data. Before providing us with your personal data, please read all our Terms and Conditions, Regulations, and Policies including the Privacy Policy herein (collectively known as “YooSnap Terms and Conditions”) thoroughly and carefully. This Privacy Policy sets out how YooSnap collects, uses, maintains, discloses and protects the information you give to YooSnap. Please contact us at hello@YooSnap.my for any queries regarding the information stated herein or any other privacy policy practices within YooSnap. - An example of personal data or personal information includes but is not limited to name, identification number, contact information, date of birth, email address, age, bank account information etc. Personal data is data whether or not true regarding an individual that can be identified through that data or other information that an organisation holds, keeps and/or have access to.
- We shall/may collect and store your personal data when you register with us to use YooSnap Services when you submit any forms related to our products or services, and during your interaction with us including but not limited to emails, social media and/or telephone conversations (which may be recorded), when you enter into any agreement with us, during the use of our electronic services including interaction using our applications or YooSnap Services, during any transaction carried out using our YooSnap Services, during the submission of your personal data for any reason.
- While using YooSnap Services, your personal data may be collected automatically or passively through technologies and these technologies may be downloaded to your device and may modify the settings on your device. Some of the information that may be collected would include Internet Protocol(IP) address, mobile device type, computer/mobile device operating system and browser type, unique device identifier (UDID), or/and mobile equipment identifier (MEID), and the pages you visit on our website and mobile applications and the number of visits.
- We provide location-based services and therefore we may collect data location of mobile devices that uses technologies like GPS, Wi-Fi and more, this is used to provide you with the necessary content based on your locality. In most cases, you are able to change the setting on your mobile at any time to disallow the ‘sharing of location information for the YooSnap application. Please reach out to your mobile manufacturer or service provider if you are unsure of how to disable your mobile’s location services.
- A User’s computer device typically sends information which may include some of the User’s personal data that may get logged when browsing through YooSnap’s website. The following are some examples of the personal data information that may be collected:
- User computer Internet Protocol (IP) address;
- Operating System;
- Type of browser;
- Referring website;
- Requested page;
- Date and/or time; and
- A “cookie” which helps enhance your YooSnap Service experience to commemorate your last visits.

YOU ARE DEEMED TO ACCEPT THE TERMS OF THESE PRIVACY POLICIES, OTHER POLICIES AND ALL OF YOOSNAP TERMS AND CONDITIONS IF YOU PROCEED TO USE THE YOOSNAP SERVICES. ANY UPDATE OR CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY WILL BE NOTIFIED ON OUR WEBSITE WWW.YOOSNAP.MY WE FURTHER RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MAKE ANY SUCH AMENDMENT AND CHANGES AT ANY TIME AND IF YOU CONTINUE TO USE YOOSNAP SERVICES AFTER THE DATE OF THE SAID AMENDMENT, IT WILL BE DEEMED THAT YOU HAVE ACCEPTED AND CONSENTED TO THE SAID AMENDMENTS AND/OR UPDATES.
- TYPE OF INFORMATION AND DATA
- “Personal Data” means any data about an individual who can be identified from that data. It includes without limitation an individual’s personal information such as their first and last name, contact details such as your email address and telephone number, year of birth, age, account username and password, credit card information and your address.
Further to the above, information and Personal Data may also include the following:
- Particulars of your social media accounts (such as gender, birthdate, profession and/or
location) if any such account is connected to our App and/or Website; and
- Any other personal information which may be provided by you or any third parties in connection with the provision of the Services and/or your usage of the App and/or Website.
- When you use any of the features and functions available on the Services;
- When you visit the YooSnap Sites or use the Mobile Apps, we may from time to time also automatically receive and record information from your browser or mobile device, including your Traffic Data (as defined below), Cookies, Web Beacons and other data; and
- If you contact us, for example, with an enquiry or to report an issue.
- After registering for an Account with us, you may update your Account details by logging into your Account, clicking on the link to your Account details and thereafter following the applicable directions. We may also process your other information and Personal Data, such as:
- Particulars of your social media accounts (such as gender, birthdate, profession and/or
location) if any such account is connected to our App and/or Website; and - Any information you may send to us or our Merchants or affiliates who use the Services; and
- Transactional history, in order to document a transaction you may have had with us and/or third parties.
- REGISTRATION OF ACCOUNT
- In order to access and enjoy full functions and features of the Platform and/or our Services, you may be required to create and register for an account with us (“Account”) by providing certain personal or business information. You hereby acknowledge and agree that we may, whether acting on our own or our financial institution partners, conduct credit checks on you including but not limited to checking with registered credit bureau or reporting agency(ies) including but not limited to CCRIS, FIS and/or other agencies and/or from any financial institution for purpose of accessing your credit worthiness and you agree to execute all consent form(s) or to provide additional document(s) necessary for such credit check(s) if so required by us and/or our financial institution partners. You also acknowledge and agree that we and/or our financial institution partners may share information about you with relevant credit reporting/reference agencies, any for any of these credit reporting/reference agencies to disclose your credit information to its subscribers for purposes of fraud detection and fraud prevention.
- You may create your Account by connecting to an account maintained by you with a third party (such as Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, XiaoHongShu, Lemon8 or your mobile service provider) wherein selected data of yours from such third party will be reflected in your Account. In registering with us, you agree to provide or that such information provided to us are accurate, current and complete information about yourself, and to update that information if it changes; if you don’t, we have the right to close your Account and any web pages and/or other pages and/or reports created under your Account within YooSnap. If we rely on the contents of your application and accept you as a YooSnap’s User, you irrevocably agree that you shall indemnify and keep us indemnified and hold us harmless for any expense, loss or damage that we may suffer arising from any inaccurate or false statement or misrepresentation of facts submitted by us to you.
- Security of Account
To safeguard the security of the Platform and your Account, you agree to:
- keep your password and/or security code confidential and use only your User ID, password and/or security code when logging in.
- ensure that you log out from your Account at the end of each session on the Platform;
- immediately notify us of any unauthorised use of your Account, User ID, password and/or security code;
- ensure that your Account information is accurate and up-to-date;
- use your Account only in accordance with the Terms of Use published (and updated from time to time) by us through online; and
- not use your Account in a manner or for any purposes which may detriment and jeopardize YooSnap’s operation, interest, reputation or goodwill.
- You are fully responsible for all activities and transactions that occur under your User ID and Account even if such activities or transactions were not committed by you as we are unable and not obliged to investigate the authenticity of user’s identity or authority of such person effecting an activity or transaction. We shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising from unauthorised use or access of your Account or your failure to comply with these Terms of Use.
For enhancement and improvement purposes, we may from time to time conduct software evaluation to assess the performance level of the Platform and/or Services. You hereby irrevocably grant to and authorise us to conduct periodical review on your Account, including but not limited to assessing the activities and/or transactions carried out by you on the Platform or via your Account.

- HOW DO WE USE THE INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE US?
The following reasons may require YooSnap to collect, use, disclose and process:
- provide you with location-based services, such as advertising, search results, and other personalized content;
- part of our security measures to verify your identity, eligibility and anti-money laundering background checks and verifying;
- to provide customer service support;
- facilitating communications between Users and Talents;
- performing research and development in order to improve YooSnap’s Services;
- to provide the User with the details of the last viewed products on the YooSnap website;
- identifying, developing, marketing and advertising products and/or services that might interest you and cookies technology will be able to allow YooSnap to provide the necessary advertisement and product suggestion; and
- any other purposes which we notify you of at the time of obtaining your consent.
We may also use your personal information for other purposes which are not stated herein, if such circumstances arise, YooSnap would notify you and obtain your consent unless it is permitted by Privacy law to process your data without requiring your consent.
- COOKIES
A Cookie is a small data file sent from a website to your browser that is stored on your device. Cookies are used for a number of purposes, including to display the most appropriate content based on your interests and activity on the Services, estimate and report the Services’ total audience size and traffic, and conduct research to improve the Services. We therefore use Cookies to customize your experience on the YooSnap Sites. For example, if your password is stored via a Cookie, you do not have to re-enter it each time you visit the YooSnap Sites/ YooSnap Mobile app. We do not link the information stored in Cookies to any of your information and Personal Data you submit while on the YooSnap Sites/ YooSnap Mobile app.. Some of our affiliates also use Cookies to provide us with anonymous data and information regarding your use of the YooSnap Sites, Mobile Apps and the Services. We do not have access or control over these Cookies, and this Privacy Policy does not therefore govern the use of such Cookies.
- DISCLOSURE
Apart from where you have consented or disclosure is necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was submitted, personal information may be disclosed in special situations where we have reason to believe that doing so is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against anyone damaging, injuring, or interfering (intentionally or unintentionally) with our rights or property, users, or anyone else who could be harmed by such activities. Also, we may disclose personal information when we believe in good faith that the law requires disclosure.
We may engage third parties to provide you with goods or services on our behalf. In that circumstance, we may disclose your personal information to those third parties in order to meet your request for goods or services.
- MERCHANT
- To use the App as a merchant, you must create a merchant account and provide accurate and up-to-date information about your business.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account credentials.
- Job Creation:
- Merchants can create job opportunities within the App to invite influencers to visit their establishment and promote their products or services.
- Job details should be clear and accurately describe the expectations, requirements, and compensation for influencers.
- Engagement with Influencers:
- Merchants are expected to engage with influencers professionally and respectfully.
- Communication regarding job opportunities, requirements, and compensation should be transparent and timely.
- Rewards Redemption:
- Merchants may offer rewards or incentives to users for promoting their products or services through the App’s reward system.
- Rewards must be clearly described, and redemption terms and conditions should be communicated accurately.
- Compliance with Laws and Regulations:
- Merchants must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to their F&B and beauty businesses.
- This includes adhering to health and safety guidelines, licensing requirements, and advertising regulations.
- Privacy and Data Protection:
- Merchants should respect user privacy and comply with relevant data protection laws.
- Any user data collected or accessed through the App should be handled securely and used only for the intended purposes.
- Termination of Account:
- YooSnap reserves the right to suspend or terminate merchant accounts that violate this policy or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities.
- Merchants may also request to close their accounts by contacting YooSnap’s support team.
- INFLUENCER
- To use the App as an influencer, you must create an influencer account and provide accurate and up-to-date information about yourself and your social media profiles.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account credentials.
- Job Opportunities:
- Influencers can browse and apply for job opportunities created by merchants within the App.
- Applications should be submitted accurately and in a timely manner, following the instructions provided by the merchant.
- Professional Conduct:
- Influencers are expected to maintain a professional and respectful demeanor when engaging with merchants and promoting their products or services.
- Communication should be timely, clear, and in line with the merchant’s expectations.
- Content Creation and Promotion:
- Influencers should create high-quality content that aligns with the merchant’s brand and messaging.
- Content should comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including advertising guidelines and disclosure requirements.
- Rewards Redemption:
- Influencers may have the opportunity to redeem rewards offered by merchants for promoting their products or services.
- Redemption terms and conditions should be followed accurately, including any posting or story requirements.
- Privacy and Data Protection:
- Influencers should respect user privacy and comply with relevant data protection laws.
- Any user data collected or accessed through the App should be handled securely and used only for the intended purposes.
- Termination of Account:
- YooSnap reserves the right to suspend or terminate influencer accounts that violate this policy or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities.
- Influencers may also request to close their accounts by contacting YooSnap’s support team.
- FEEDBACK
We welcome information and feedback from you which will enable us to improve the performance of the Platform or quality of the Services provided. Please refer to our feedback procedure below for further information:
- Feedback may be made in writing through email to hello@yoosnap.com or such other communication channel(s) made available on the Platform.
- Anonymous feedback will not be accepted.
- Users affected by the feedback should be fully informed of all facts and given the opportunity to put forward their case.
- Vague and defamatory feedback will not be entertained.
